These things are so important - we are losing so much with the digital age. There are probably some gains but they’re hard to see - and I’m not a Luddite - in fact quite the opposite. Rambling now

We really are! I feel so lucky to have all of this and all the photos. I have so many photos of the boys, of course, but they’re almost all on my phone.

That's as good a way as any to start exploring the suitcase, Keris! My parents met on the dance floor at Pwllheli Butlins in 1955! And they returned there when I was a child (1962 or 63, I'll have to check). That video! What a nostalgia-fest.

Old photos are so evocative and brilliant prompts. They always make me want to write the story behind them even if I don’t know it!

I'm so lucky to have so many photos - my dad was a keen photographer! And I agree re prompts - I used to use them when I ran a writing course.
