These things are so important - we are losing so much with the digital age. There are probably some gains but they’re hard to see - and I’m not a Luddite - in fact quite the opposite. Rambling now
We really are! I feel so lucky to have all of this and all the photos. I have so many photos of the boys, of course, but they’re almost all on my phone.
That's as good a way as any to start exploring the suitcase, Keris! My parents met on the dance floor at Pwllheli Butlins in 1955! And they returned there when I was a child (1962 or 63, I'll have to check). That video! What a nostalgia-fest.
Love this, all of it xxx
Thank you ♥️
What a lovely idea!
What a treasure trove 💓
Oh, I love this! Can’t wait to see more!

Oh amazing, Wendy! My dad was there in ‘53 too.
We went a few times as kids and I loved it.
(Not to Pwllheli. To a few different ones.)
This is a gorgeous way of looking at everything!
Thank you!
This is amazing. Love the lap
Weird/creepy holiday camp party games!
Great you have the pics to go with the postcard message!
Old photos are so evocative and brilliant prompts. They always make me want to write the story behind them even if I don’t know it!
I'm so lucky to have so many photos - my dad was a keen photographer! And I agree re prompts - I used to use them when I ran a writing course.
