I’ve realised it’s not actually a great idea to try to work on - *checks* - four books at once. That maybe, just maybe, that’s why I can’t seem to get back into working on Dead Frog Lane. (Also, god, so much life admin. So much!)
So this week I planned to wrap up a couple of projects as far as possible and to deal with some admin things that have been hanging over me for a while. And also to take a couple of days off. Yes, I know I’ve just had a holiday, but I wasn’t alone. The 15yo is delightful, but I have learned over the last few years that I really do need time alone, at home, to reset.
