Full Christmas is sort of happening, but when I imagined weeks of sitting on my sofa inhaling books, I forgot that I have two kids and two Substacks and I do not have a magic oven. (I do have an absolutely filthy oven, but that is a 2024 problem.)

So I’m not going to bleat (much) about my Harry book or any of my other writing (I really want to get back to Dead Frog Lane and Sam and Adam and Steven the Seagull), but I did have an epiphany...
