Hi. How’s things? I have weird performance anxiety about this post for absolutely no reason.
I’m still taking it slow. I now have two printouts to read and I’m planning to read one today and the other tomorrow. I’m trying to add an extra bit of work in each week, so last week I had to do some admin stuff for the Harry book and this week I’m adding the adult novel and some research for the other novel. (The research involves watching TV, so not a hardship.)
Alongside that, I’m doing one admin thing each day - I finally managed to access my student loans account! I called someone about my will! (And I’ll be writing about that for The Ladybird Purse later this week.) My ex found our marriage certificate so I can change my name legally. And today I need to review my tax return, joy of joys.
Adriene Yoga every morning. Walking every day. Eating good stuff. (Highlights have been vanilla ice cream with balsamic glaze, inspired by the Will Poulter episode of Big Zuu’s 12 Dishes in 12 Days, which me and The Guardian highly recommend, and this, which I made last night and I’m having again tonight.) I also read and adored Shark Heart by Emily Habeck.
All of this is really just me putting off sharing something from my book, so I’m going to make myself do it.
