Saw most of this year’s best picture noms and Sinners was great.
Loved Sentimental Values and the way the house becomes a kind of central character, witnessing generations of a family.
Moved by Hamnet.
Enjoyed Frankenstein.
Didn’t gel with One Battle After Another (only the middle bit in the sanctuary city really engaged me).
Bugonia was silly.
Train Dreams: enjoyed, but it’s not stuck with me.
Haven’t seen The Secret Agent yet, but want to. Not seen Marty Supreme. No intention of watching F1.
Of course Landry is real.
Right? But just Landry! None of the others
Tim Riggins for a while for me. When I saw him in other things it faded - unlike Landry. Plemons is a shape shifter.
