So I read my essay in Perfectly Plum and I liked it.
I do not remember writing it. I remember writing a first draft that was all over the place and then sending it to a friend like “Help me!” And she did. I don’t remember what happened after that. But I enjoyed the essay. But I think it has more in common with English Literature degree me than published author me.
My bio, however, made me happy.
I’ve come a long way! Fourteen books published and two more on the way in 2025. (And that 3yo is 20. And his brother is almost 16. Good grief.)
Anyway. I’m still reading my own backlist - this week Jessie Hearts NYC - and thinking about Dead Frog Lane.
