MONDAY
I have to write a synopsis and a 3000-ish word sample for a possible other book before Wednesday, so I probably shouldn’t be writing Dead Frog Lane at all… And yet, I want to. Stuff is still running around in my head so, you know, better out than in. And I decided to up the daily wordcount by 100, as mentioned last week. So 200 word target today.
And I’m writing in Starbucks, which makes me feel more like a proper writer than writing on my sofa.

TUESDAY
Wrote 2000 words, but of something else entirely, requested by an editor. Did actually plan to get my 300 words of this book in at some point, but it just didn’t happen.

Carried on with the scene I started on Monday, which involves a startled mouse in the kitchen. Googled mice for description purposes.
