First up today I have my writing diary for the week and then - then! - I can finally share the cover of The Harry Styles Effect.

MONDAY
For the last three nights, I’ve woken at 4, faffed on my phone for a bit and then managed to get back to sleep until 8, which is very late for me. Today I actually intended to be in a cafe at 8, already working, but instead I didn’t get there til 9.
I wrote my money Substack and drafted a few more, read a chapter of This American Ex-Wife by Lyz Lenz (research for Dead Frog Lane), and then it was time to go to the cinema to see La Chimera.
I’ve got workfright since I haven’t written for a couple of weeks, so I’m using one of my tried and tested methods to get over it - start with 100 words and increase by another 100 each day. So…
